A step-by-step video on how to fold a fitted sheet. Lay the sheet down on a flat surface, with the elastic side facing up (the elastic will form an L-shape) Fold the flattened sheet in thirds, hiding the elastic and resulting in a rectangular folded sheet. Continue folding into thirds, if desired. Start with your fitted sheet inside-out, held with your hands in two corners along the long side of the sheet. Bring your palms together and fold the right corner over the left one. Switch hands and put your right hand into a corner, then use your free left hand to straighten the edges, ending with your left hand in the other corner of the sheet.

Your fitted sheet should now be long and skinny. Fold each side in to the middle point of the sheet, then fold in half for a nice, neat fitted sheet!

Lay the sheet flat lengthwise with the inside facing up 2. Tuck the two corners on the right into the two corners on the left 3. Lay the sheet on a flat surface. Straighten out the corners and edges if you need to by sticking one hand inside the pocket and smoothing out with the other. Fold the curved edge down so you have a straight edge. Fold in half lengthwise, then fold into thirds width-wise (or whatever size you need). Depending on the size of your sheet, you may just be able to do a couple of folds from the bottom to the top, or you can bring the top third down and the bottom third up to ensure nice straight lines (it depends on how square you want your final result to be….).
